Pottery Open Studio Sessions

Ticket Price: £20 per workshop + materials

Tuesdays, 10am - 12pm

Continue your pottery journey with us as you create in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Open studio sessions are exclusively for those that have completed our beginner’s course or have previous experience of hand building ceramics.

Join us in our light and airy studio to further explore the wonders of clay with the support, advice and expertise of resident ceramicist Sarah Glazier-Hart. Using hand building techniques, explore your creativity and spend time with other potters whilst enjoying cups of tea and yummy cake.

Beginner’s Pottery Course

During this 4 week course you will be gently and expertly guided through traditional hand building techniques, with a different project and focus each session.

Clay Club

Thursdays 4.15pm - 5.15pm

6 week course, beginning 9th January 2025

Join us here at Wildling Studio as we get creative together in our after-school club.

Designed exclusively for mini wildlings, this 6 week course will teach you traditional hand-building skills, decorating techniques and glaze application. Our weekly makes will be themed to the season, encouraging a connection to the natural world through creative work.

Enjoy a cosy afternoon of pottery and cake

Join resident ceramicist Sarah Glazier-Hart for a relaxed afternoon here at Wildling Studio. Learn to create a handbuilt mug and cake plate set, perfect for those cosy evenings by the fire.

Stained Glass Hearts with Emy

Spend a lovely afternoon or evening getting creative and learning a new skill at Wildling Studio; stained glass!

During this session you will gain an understanding in creating stained glass; you will be taught to cut, to grind, to foil and to solder the glass to create a beautiful hanging decoration. 

Lino Printing with Frances Daws

Saturday 15th February, 10am - 12.30pm

Ticket Price: £55

At this chilly time of the year, warm up with a cosy workshop learning Lino printing with local artist Frances Daws. Accessible to both complete beginners or someone continuing to harness their skill, you will be guided into how to design and carve a plate, learn about what papers and inks work well and leave with a beautiful unique piece of work.

During this 4 week course you will be gently and expertly guided by Stained Glass artist Emy Mills - you will learn to cut, grind, foil and solder to create a piece you will be proud of.

Indian Block Printing with Mils & Mum

A relaxing afternoon of print making and cake

Join us at Wildling Studio as we learn the traditional and ancient craft of Indian Wood Block Printing with Shan and Millie of Mils & Mum.

Mother’s Day Pottery Morning

Saturday 15th March, 10am - 11.30am

Join us here at Wildling Studio for a relaxing morning creating and crafting together.

Using foraged natural treasures for our creations, our resident ceramicist Sarah Glazier-Hart will gently guide you to make botanical imprint coasters and a small plate, perfect for mum’s cup of tea and slice of cake!

Seed Swap

Community Seed Swap

Join me at the studio to participate in a Seed Swap. Please bring your excess seeds in clearly marked paper envelopes and swap seeds with fellow gardeners and find exciting new varieties to diversify your garden.

Willow Weaving

There’s something about weaving willow that nourishes the soul.

Join us for a relaxed morning of willow weaving, delicious homemade cake and lashings of tea.

Whether you’re learning a new craft, connecting with the natural world, or digging deep inwardly - leave with an open heart and an open mind.

 

More than anything, I aspire for the studio to be a space, not only to share what I have learnt and love, but one which invites others to do the same. Collaborating with small businesses, local crafts people and therapists is at the centre of our work here.
