Working with your hands allows you to connect with the physical world in a way that is often lost in the digital age.
Join us here at Wildling Studio as we get creative together during the October Half Term. These workshops are designed exclusively for mini wildlings, teaching traditional hand skills and encouraging a connection to nature and the season.
During the ceramic workshops Wildling Studio owner and potter Sarah Glazier-Hart will gently guide you step by step through the processes involved and you’ll have a chance to play and get creative with your pieces.
We are delighted to welcome Mils and Mum to the studio especially for October Half Term. Shan and Milly will guide you through the processes involved in block printing your very own trick or treat bag, perfect for Halloween!
Please note: During the ceramic workshops we will be using stoneware clay and decorating with coloured slips. Pieces will need to be left at the studio for glazing and firing and will be ready for collection approximately 2-3 weeks after the workshop.
Suitable for children aged 4+ Parents must stay and are encouraged to get involved!
There will be one Community Space Available for each workshop. This free space is offered to support the local community, please click here for more information.

Meet the makers
Sarah Glazier-Hart
With over 12 years of experience creating and teaching ceramics, I have had the privilege of guiding many people on their creative journey with clay. Teaching pottery and other traditional craft skills allows me to combine my love of working with my hands with the joy of empowering others to explore their own artistic expressions.
My own ceramic work is inspired by the beauty found in living simply, in tandem with nature. I hand build my high fired ceramic homeware slowly and with great attention to detail, wanting to imbue those everyday rituals of preparing and eating food with joy. My work is characterised by organic shapes, the tactile nature of materials and beautiful glazes in soft tones.
