“Perfection in imperfection”
Join us at Wildling Studio as we learn the traditional and ancient craft of Indian Wood Block Printing with Shan and Millie of Mils & Mum.
Take a moment in the calm of the studio surrounded by fellow Wildlings to learn a new skill or fine tune an existing one as we explore colour, repeat patterns and design, inspired by the beautiful natural wonders around us.
After demonstrations and time to practice we will be printing onto cushion covers which you will take home with you at the end of the workshop. We will of course pause for a warm drink and delicious sweet treats as is customary at the studio!
Take some time out for yourself, or enjoy the afternoon making memories with a friend or loved one creating beautiful stamped textiles. All tools and materials provided with all abilities welcome.

Hi my name is Shân and I love printing - the simplicity, the anticipation, the process and the sense of achievement. I also get great delight in seeing others learn and enjoy this craft too, so sharing this process through our workshops gives us as much satisfaction as printing itself.
I have always enjoyed crafting for pleasure from a young child and after selling our family business 3 years again, I have been been able to spend more time exploring and enjoying this passion. I love design, pattern, and how Indian block printing opens up a wealth of creativity without the need to be able to draw or be artistic.
We set up Homemade by Mils and Mum, as my youngest daughter (Millie) then aged 9 wanted to have her own business. We sell our printed products at events and also run our workshops together. Millie is much loved by our attendees and brings her wealth of printing and calm to the workshops, with a quiet flair for helping, supporting and gently guiding if needed.
