“I will honour Christmas in my heart and try to keep it all the year”
Join us at Wildling Studio as the cold weather settles in and we turn our thoughts to the festivities awaiting us. Take a moment in the calm of the studio surrounded by fellow Wildlings to learn a new skill or fine tune an existing one.
Spend a morning with local artist Frances Daws and learn to create a set of beautiful hand printed cards, learning the art of botanical printing through a printing press. Using locally foraged winter foliage you will be able to produce a set of unique, hand printed Christmas cards on high quality recycled cards. You will get to experiment with different papers, inks, and layering botanicals.
Feel safe in the knowledge that this workshop is suitable for all - starting with complete beginners. Frances will spend time introducing us to her craft and support us in the delivery of our own unique creations.
We will of course pause for a warm drink and delicious festive treats as is customary at the studio!
Take some time out for yourself, or enjoy the morning making memories with a friend or loved one. All tools and materials provided with all abilities welcome.

Find out more about Frances Daws
Frances Daws is a local award winning artist specialising in painting and various forms of printmaking including collagraph, monotype and lino printing. Her work is inspired by a love of nature and being outdoors. Whether it's the sea crashing against the Cornish coastline or a frosted over oak leaf in her local fields, these encounters form the ideas behind her semi-abstract paintings and intricate prints. As well as producing her own work she has a love of teaching and sharing skills and has six years experience in running workshops.
