Working with your hands allows you to connect with the physical world in a way that is often lost in the digital age.
Join us here at Wildling Studio as we get creative together during the Easter Holidays. These workshops are designed exclusively for mini wildlings, teaching traditional hand skills and encouraging a connection to nature and the season.
Choose a ceramic workshop run by Wildling Studio owner and potter Sarah Glazier-Hart. You will be gently guided step by step through the processes involved in hand your ceramic pieces with space to be creative and come up with your own ideas.
We are delighted to welcome Frances Daws to the studio! Frances will take you through the tactile and fun art of paper making using a mould and deckle, adding dried flowers and seeds to your pieces.
Please note: During the ceramic workshops we will be using stoneware clay and decorating with coloured slips. Pieces will need to be left at the studio for glazing and firing and will be ready for collection approximately 2-3 weeks after the workshop.
Suitable for children aged 4+ Parents must stay and are encouraged to get involved!
There will be one Community Space Available for each workshop. This free space is offered to support the local community, please click here for more information.

Meet the maker
Sarah is the resident studio potter here at Wildling Studio. She has over 12 years of teaching experience within public, private and charity sectors.
Sarah’s hand built, functional ceramics are made from high-fired flecked stoneware, ensuring her pieces are suitable for everyday use. She wants her work to be handled and used, so that everyday tasks are imbued with joy and pleasure. Sarah’s desire to make functional pieces results in ceramics that explore the balance between fragility and strength, with each bespoke piece exhibiting her signature soft colour pallet.
