“My pottery classes are at Wildling Studio with the amazing Sarah Glazier-Hart. Not only is she incredibly talented, endlessly patient and has excellent artistic style and taste, but her workshops are set in acres of meadows and she bakes home made cakes every time. Genius. Highly recommended.”

As a beginner, you'll learn the basic skills and techniques of working with clay in a relaxed and supportive environment. Each week Sarah will guide you through a new project, an exploration into hand-building methods such as coiling, pinch pots, and slab building. With her expert guidance, you’ll explore different shapes and textures to create unique ceramic pieces you'll be proud to take home or to give to your loved ones. Whether you're looking for a fun activity to do with a friend or want to try something new on your own, the peace and tranquility of Wildling Studio is the perfect place to unwind and discover your creativity.
Once you have completed this course you’ll be able to access our open studio sessions to work on your own creations.

With 14 years of experience creating and teaching ceramics, I have had the privilege of guiding many people on their creative journey with clay. Teaching pottery and other traditional craft skills allows me to combine my love of working with my hands with the joy of empowering others to explore their own artistic expressions.
My own ceramic work is inspired by the beauty found in living simply, in tandem with nature. I hand build my high fired ceramic homeware slowly and with great attention to detail, wanting to imbue those everyday rituals of preparing and eating food with joy. My work is characterised by organic shapes, the tactile nature of materials and beautiful glazes in soft tones.
