As a beginner, you'll learn the basic skills and techniques of copper foiled glass in a relaxed and supportive environment. Each week Stained
Glass Artist Emy Mills will guide you through a new technique, an exploration into cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering glass. With her expert guidance, you’ll explore different shapes, colours and patterns to create a unique glass piece you’ll be proud to take home or to give to your loved ones. Whether you're looking for a fun activity to do with a friend or want to try something new on your own, the peace and tranquility of Wildling Studio is the perfect place to unwind and discover your creativity.

Week 1 - a focus on cutting glass

Week 2 - a focus on grinding glass

Week 3 - a focus on foiling glass

Week 4 - a focus on soldering

During each session there will be tea, coffee and a sweet treat provided.

Having previously taught art and photography for 8 years in secondary schools Emy is now enjoying the opportunity to use her teaching skills to help people learn the beautiful and exciting skill of stained glass. Emy uses the copper foil technique to create bright and bold stained glass panels that are uplifting and joyous. She loves meeting like-minded creative people in the Wiltshire community who are keen to learn such an unusual skill that has been around for thousands of years.
